Sustainable development projects urgently needed in Marib governorate—Dr. Meftah

Deputy Governor of Marib governorate Dr. Abd-Rabbu Meftah highlighted the pressing need for sustainable development projects in the governorate.

" There is a pressing need for sustainable developments projects and developing the education infrastructure in Marib, because it has been hosting more than 2 million and 500 thousand IDPs distributed to 186 Camps", he said.

As he met here today with the Executive Director of the Economic and Institutional Resilience Project of the UNDP Peter Van DePaul today, Meftah confirmed that there are 14 thousand of the IDPs pupils are learning outside the classrooms because the schools are overburdened, there are not sufficient schools to take them in.
