The Ambassador of Yemen to Havana, Mohamed Saleh Nasher, discussed with the Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Alexandre Pejesir Moraga, the latest developments in our country and the development of cooperation relations between the two friendly countries.
In a meeting held today, Nasher reviewed the crimes of the Houthi militia, its terrorist escalation in a number of governorates, its repeated targeting of neighboring countries and its threat to international shipping lanes, stressing the government's firm position towards establishing peace in accordance with the recognized resolutions of the international community, foremost of which is UNSC Resolution no. 2216. In turn, the Cuban official reiterated his country's permanent and firm position on Yemen's side, stressing the importance of dialogue to stop the war and bring lasting peace to Yemen.
