'MASAM' pulls out 2440 Houthi-laid landmines in a week

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" managed to extract 2440 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosive devices during the time 25 to 31 December 25 to 31 2021.

The Center reported that MASAM removed 15 anti-personnel and 1318 anti-tanks landmines, 1097 UXO and 10 explosive devices.

This amount of landmines planted by Iran-allied Houthi militiamen in different parts of Yemen.

MASAM demined 10499 landmines in December and 300 thousand and 852 Houthi-laid landmines since it has started its demining mission.
