A memo inked to conclude Japanese projects in water sector

Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfeq Asharjabi and Director of the Office of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Yemen and Egypt Yusho Fumi Omora signed today a memorandum of concluding the agreement of the Japanese projects aimed to support rural water sector in Yemen.
The Japanese funded project is intended to provide clean drinking water in 19 rural locations.
It is important to note that the JICA funded 3 year training program for the Yemeni cadres in charge of rural water supplies management in Yemen.
Asharjabi highly praised the JICA's significant support for water sector in Yemen either in training or providing rural regions with water supplies.
