The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. 'MASAM' removes above 1700 landmines, UXOs in a week

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen" MASAM" extracted 1755 of landmines planted by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen in different Yemeni regions in the 4th week of September 2021.

"MASAM" reported that it pulled out 8 anti-personnel, 1203 anti-tanks landmines, 543 unexploded ordnances (UXO) and one explosive device.

With this 5780 landmines were removed in September to bring total landmines extracted by MASAM up to 277 thousand since it has started its demining mission.
