Parliament Speaker Sultan al-Barakani sent Saturday congratulation cable to his Algerian Counterpart Ibrahim Boghali on winning elections as head of National People Council.

It gives me and my colleagues, members of the Parliament of Yemen, pleasure to send you best wishes on the confidence granted by your colleagues of National People Council by electing you a president to the council in this sensitive time of our countries and nations , said al-Barakani in the cable.

"I am confident that your presidency to your brotherly country's council will represent new and unique breakthrough to joint parliamentarian work," he said.

We confirm keenness on boosting cooperation between the two countries and parliaments for serving interests of our countries and people, he added.
