Yemen's Information Minister said no one even women was spared torture in the jails of the Houthi terrorist militia backed by Iran.
In a statement to Saba on the occasion of the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture 2021, Muammar al-Eryani said: "We remember tens of thousands of politicians, journalists, activist, and army prisoners who come under all sorts of torture in a daily basis in the illegal detention facilities of the Houthi militia in reprisal for their opposition to the militia."
He said women are in particular subject to "psychological and physical torture and [sexual] molestation in [women] specific detention centers."
