Yemen’s army has regained outposts from the Houthis in Al-Kassarah front in a special operation that destroyed the putschist militants’ equipment, a military source said on Friday.
The source said the army carried out an operation “deep in the militia’s positions” destroying Houthi machineguns and cannons and killing the militants who manned them.
“The army returned to their former outposts safely after the successful attack,” it said.
The Iran-backed militia wages an incessant war against the government-held Marib city where millions of civilians have sought refuge from the militia over the past six years.
