Prime Minister launches 40-MW power plant in Hadhramout

Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik launched Tuesday power plant project with output of 40 MW at Shihr portal city in Hadhramout within exerted efforts for improving electricity service.
Prime minister was briefed by concerned officials on the plant's components and possible efforts for increasing the outputs into 60 MW.
He confirmed that power issue is in the top list of the government's priorities and the government is currently coordinating with local authorities for carrying out practical alternatives for increasing generating outputs and alleviating suffering of people.
We, all, have to shoulder responsibility, not to direct blames to others, he said, confirming that the government is ready to joint work within available capabilities for finding sustainable solutions to power problem.
