Yemen’s army killed 17 Houthis as it repelled an attack by the radical theocratic militants in the outskirts of the eastern city of Marib, informed sources said.
The Armed Forces’ Media Center said that Al-Kassarah, one of the fronts outside Marib, saw fierce fighting this morning, which led to killing 17 militants and the injury of others.
The army shelled and destroyed Houthi reinforcements with manpower and vehicles to the battlefield.
The Houthi militia have been waging an especially fierce war against Marib since the beginning of 2020.
