Al-Eryani warns of humanitarian catastrophe due to Houthi military operations on Marib

Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muamer al-Eryani reiterated the warning of a an unaffordable humanitarian disaster because of the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia's ongoing military operations against the governorate of Marib.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) he said " Marib governorate has included the largest clusters of the Internally Displaced Families and Persons (IDPs) who fled their own regions due to Houthi militia's coup, war and atrocities".
To support his argument the minister cited figures published by the Management Unit of Internally Displaced Camps (MUIDC) on February 6,2021.
The MUIDC's report stated that Marib governorate received up to (2.231.000) of the IDPs make up %60 of the total IDPs, amounts to 7.5% of the total population and the total population of Marib governorate went up to 2.707.544.
