The Republic of Yemen has praised India's support to the government of Yemen and standing by Yemeni people for regaining its state and stopping the war.

In Yemen's speech delivered by the Permanent Representative of Yemen to Arab League Ambassador Riyadh Al-Ukbori on Tuesday while participation in the activities of the third round of the meeting of the senior officials of Arab – Indian Cooperation Forum through visual communications, al-Ukbori praised relations linking the two countries for ancient ages.

He renewed welcome of Yemen's Foreign Ministry to the US Administration's decision of labeling Houthi militia as terrorist organization.

He also reconfirmed government's support to efforts sponsored by the UN and its envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths for realizing peace in Yemen on the bases of the three agreed upon references, the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.
