ADEN - SABA
Yemen has welcomed the reunification of ranks amongst GCC members.
The Yemeni foreign ministry said in a statement it hopes the Gulf summit in the Saudi city of Al Oula will be used to address the sticking points and restore the inter-GCC ties to its natural state in order to fulfill the aspirations of the leaders and peoples of the GCC states.
The statement appreciated the GCC leaders' interest, mainly that of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in reunifying the ranks in the bloc so as to counter the common challenges in the region.
The statement expressed special appreciations to the state of Kuwait too, for its efforts in mending the bonds.
