Prime Minister, Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik, said that the current government is a partnership of forces present on the ground that are united on clear goals, stressing that the current government has exceptional tasks to work on at this stage.
In an interview with Yemen’s flagship TV channel this evening, Abdumalik said that the government’s first goal is to end the Houthi coup and patch up the differences that badly affected the struggle towards this goal, particularly the August bloody unrest of August 2019.
The government also aims to re-adjust revenues and public finance, set in its areas of control a role model for the state’s authority.
He affirmed that the government will be move to Aden with all its members to work from there. He also said that the salary delay problem will be resolved especially for the armed forces.
