Yemen's Ambassador to Mauritania Salim al-Irada discussed Tuesday with Director of Arab Department at Mauritanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Omer Babo latest developments in Yemen and Houthi militia's humanitarian crimes and violations to all international laws and traditions.
Al-Irada handed over the Mauritanian diplomat a copy of the government's release, which included strong worded condemnation to Iranian regime's smuggling one of its elements to the republic of Yemen and appointing him ambassador to Houthi rebel militia.
For his part, the Mauritanian diplomat reaffirmed his country's firm position supporting Yemen and the internationally-recognized government under President Hadi.
He also reconfirmed Mauritanian permanent position regarding all Yemeni parties' commitment to the three agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Conference and Security Council's Resolution 2216.
