The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Technical education signs agreement for youth enabling project

The Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training signed Monday a memo of understanding with the Yemeni Wisdom Association for implementing the project of enabling youth vocationally.
The project is financed by Kuwaiti Relief Association.
The nine-month project will train and educate 850 male and female youth from Taiz and Aden on computer skills and mobile maintenance, in addition to other home handcrafts.
The project, which comes within a package of youth projects financed by the Kuwaiti association in 14 provinces, aims at meeting labor market's needs through qualifying a number of youth and enabling them economically.
