Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Nasser Ba-aum contributed Monday via videoconference to the 73rd meeting of the World Health Organization (WHO) General Assembly.
Dr. Ba-aum called on the UN's agencies, International Community (IC), donors and international organizations to support the Yemeni government's efforts to counter coronavirus and other pandemics and viruses.
The Minister asked the WHO to dispatch experts to the interim capital Aden to examine and deionize the epidemical situations in the city where several pandemics and fevers have recently spread in the wake of the rainfalls and floods that Aden seen lately.
