The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

The National Commission for Enquiry into human rights abuse claims continued its survey in Yemen's central province of Taiz as part of its mission in the whole country.
Chaired by Ishraq al-Maqtari the Commission's team met today the chief of Taiz Police Brig. Mansour al-Akhali and discussed the situation of human rights in the government-held city
Al-Akhali briefed al-Maqtari on the steps taken by the police departments to activate police stations and operate according to the Police Department Law and international instruments to which Yemen is a signatory.
