The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held a meeting Today, Thursday, presided over by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council, with the presence of its members Aidarous al-Zubaidi, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Mujalli and via video conference Tariq Saleh and Abdul Rahman al-Mahrami, while Council members Sultan al-Aradah and Faraj al-Bahsani were absent with excuse.

Minister of Information Muammar al-Eryani affirmed the importance of designing a targeted media message to counter the sectarian ideology and calls for dividing the country's social fabric as practiced by the Houthi militia.

In a journalistic training workshop in Riyadh, he cited what the press institutions, the public and private ones, endured over the past five years at the hands of the Iran-backed militia that had mounted a coup and triggered a devastating war.

"Perhaps everybody remembers the address of the notorious (Houthi leader) Abdulmalik al-Houthi whereby he labeled journalists as more dangerous on his militia "than those who raise arms" against the militia in the battlefield."
