Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh applauded significant military advancements have been gained recently by the national military troops in Hajah governorate in the battles against Iran-allied Houthi rebels.

General Mohsen's statement came during two telephone calls he held with Governor of Hajah Maj. General Abdulkareem Assoneiny and commander of the Fifth Military Zone Maj. General Yahya Salah.

In the two phone conversation the Vice President aimed to follow the latest developments about combat operations against the Houthi rebels.

The Vice President praised the fierce battles have been fought by the government's troops backed by Saudi-led Arab Coalition Forces against the Iran-allied Houthi militia's militants.
