Info Minister condemns Houthi kidnapping of leaders of oil company labor union

Information Minister Muammar Al-Eryani strongly condemned the Houthi militia's continuity to keep in custody a number of the abducted leaders of the labor union in the Yemeni Oil Company.

The rebel militia are detaining the head of the labor union committee Hassan Al-Shormani, head of Sana' city branch of the Union Fahmi Mohammed Al-Majdhoub, the head of the Sana'a province branch Abbas Al-Bayli, the head of Taiz branch Fayez Beshr and keeping them in n unknown location since Tuesday.

The information minister said in a statement to the Saba news agency that these kidnappings come against the backdrop of rejections of the Houthi attempt to loot the salaries of the company's employees.
