President Hadi—Commander-in- Chief – conducted Saturday evening a phone call to Governor of Taiz governorate Nabil Shamsan to follow on the implications of the recent events the governorate has seen.
In his telephone conversation President Hadi ordered to exercise restraint to avoid bloodshed and devote all efforts and resources to counter the forces of the coup d'état of Iran-allied Houthi militia.
The President ordered the governor to address security troubles by enforcing the rule of law through the state's security services and military apparatuses and renormalizing the situations in cooperation with all government's authorities in charge.
President Hadi urged all parties to stop unnecessary escalations and comply with the governor's instructions.
