Yemen's Prime Minister Maeen Abdulamlik said the government is in earnest to end the war that the Houthi militia triggered by the coup of September 2014.
In a meeting he held with the Vice President of Switzerland Simonetta Sommaruga on the sidelines of the ongoing 2019 Yemen pledging conference in Geneva, Abdulmalek said the government has been in earnest to keep the arm extended for peace … and end the pointless war that the Houthi militia triggered."
He appreciated Switzderland's hosting of the ongoing pledging conference for Yemen and their interest in alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people that resulted from the war.
