The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Yemen's Ambassador to Poland Dr Mirfat Mujalli met Tuesday with Polish Minister for Humanitarian Aid Beata Kempa.
Conversations touched upon Yemeni-Polish bilateral ties and cooperation.
Dr Mujalli briefed Kempa on the humanitarian crisis Yemeni peoples have been experiencing as a result of Houthi putschist militia's coup d'état. She cited Houthi militia's atrocities and violations including using landmines that left large number of victims many of them children.
The Polish minister reiterated her country's support for peace in Yemen, noting that Poland government will contribute to humanitarian actions in Yemen. Poland government already started last year to contribute to humanitarian efforts in our country through the UNICEF.
