Demining teams destroy more than 5000 mines planted by Houthis in Midi, Hairan

The Fifth Military Zone's Demining Teams- with help from mine experts from Arab Coalition Forces- destroyed on Sunday 5151 mines and explosive devices planted by Houthi militia in Midi-Hairan warfront in Hajjah Province.

In a statement to Deputy Head of Military Engineering Unit Colonel Dhaifullah al-Murier he made it clear that the mines cleared during the past three months from Midi-Hairan front and liberated areas in the two districts.

There are still thousands of mines planted in agricultural areas in the area, posing huge danger on the people even after the war.

Earlier, the technical teams destroyed nearly 6000 mines in the fifth region.
