Health Ministry prepares to vaccinate over 5 mln children against polio

The Ministry of Public Health and Population is set to launch a countrywide vaccination against infant polio next month with an expected number of more than five million children to be targeted.
The three-day campaign is scheduled to be launched on 6th August, targeting all children under the age of five of both sexes.
Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Nasser Baoum told Saba that the campaign targets children, including newborns and all those who have already been vaccinated. Health workers will go from house to house in all provinces.
