The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

Saudi ambassador launches reconstruction program, announces about establishing regional airport in Marib, .

Saudi ambassador to Yemen, General Supervisor over the Reconstruction Program in Yemen, Mohammed Sa'eed Al-Jaber announced about the launch of the Reconstruction Program in Marib province. He stated that the reconstruction process in Marib will commence with establishing a Regional Airport.

During his visit to Marib Thursday, Al-Jaber announced that the Reconstruction Program's Office in Marib will be opened to undertake supervision over the reconstruction campaign that will cover all districts an included different fields such as highways, health, education and human development.

Al-Jaber described the Reconstruction Program Campaign as the third phase of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition intervention in Yemen. He explained that first phase was to stand up to the Iranian expansion and Houthi coup. Second phase represented by the humanitarian actions.

The governor of Marib Maj. General Sultan Al-Arrada voiced deep thanks and appreciation for the Saudi efforts aiming to support Yemen in different spheres. Al-Arrada handed al-Jaber a package of proposal for establishing urgently needed developmental and services projects in the province.
