Shujaa al-Deen UNIDO Director-General discuss Yemen development and reconstruction

Yemen's ambassador to Vienna Haitham Shujaa al-Deen met today with the Director-General of the Organization (UNIDO) Lee Yong .
The ambassador expressed the Yemeni government's hope that UNIDO will play an active role in the development and reconstruction process in Yemen in the industry, agriculture and fisheries sector, similar to the rest of the UN organizations that are present and carrying out projects on the ground in the territories held by the Yemeni government.
On his part, Yong said that the UNIDO has presence in many countries in the Arab world and is keen to provide assistance to Yemen.
He stressed that the organization will work to assist the Yemeni government in rehabilitating the industrial, agricultural and fisheries sectors in order to advance the country's comprehensive and sustainable development.
