The Council of Ministers held an extraordinary meeting Thursday in the city of Sayoon of Hudramout province presided over by the Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher.
The cabinet discussed a number of topics on its agenda and made decisions about.
The cabinet has approved 1 billion Yemeni Rial (YR) payment to construct residential units for the people whose houses were damaged by floods. 400 million YR also was approved to provide Sayoon's Olympic Stadium with grasses.
The Cabinet has authorized Minister of Higher Education to submit necessary studies about establishing five Universities in the Lahj, Al-Dale'a, Shabwa, Mahara and Sayoon.
Al-Aber-Shabwa road project was approved to construct the13km asphalted highway.
