Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Salem Al-Waeli has appreciated the positive positions of EU officials as they maintain the necessary commercial facilitations for Yemen and show keenness on enhancing joint cooperation between the two sides.

Al-Waeli expressed this during a meeting held at the European Union headquarters with the head of the Trade Exchange Facilitation Commission Jean-Michel Griff.

The meeting discussed the facilitation offered by the EU institutions for the on Yemeni exports to Europe, Yemen's accession to the trade rules established by the European Union last year, Yemen's commitment to those rules, and the need to register Yemeni exporters in the REX system within the next two months.
