A memorandum of understanding signed Wednesday between local authority in Hudramout and the Global Follow for Peace and Development organization.
The memo aims to help improve local authorities' capacities so that they can effectively manage local resources, provide services and develop local communities in Wadi Hudramout.
The Memo—signed by undersecretary of the Hudramout engineer Hisham Assa'edi—states that cooperation shall be established between the two sides to design and put in place a project for developing local authorities' capacities in the districts.
The project shall contribute toward: developing human skills of the district's local authority so as to better administer resources and development, developing institutional structure of the district authorities, promoting partnership with civil society organizations and private-sector.
