Three documentary films on the Houthiabuses against journalists, media bandits and civilians in Yemen were launched in the cinema hall of the UN Palace in Geneva, Switzerland.
The three documentary films presented by activistAbdullah Ismail discussed the reality of journalism under in Yemen, the recruitment of child soldiers and the practice of planting internationally banned landmines.
Ismail told Saba that the three films which were screened today in the on the sidelines of the 37th session of the UNHRC will be shown in the coming days on a number of Arabic TV channels.
He stressed that the press situation in particular and the humanitarian situation in general witnessed a significant and serious deterioration due to violations by the Houthi militia, especially in areas under their control through systematic crimes against journalists, human rights activists, politicians and civilians.
The three films, which were translated in Arabic, French and German, will also be screened in upcoming film festivals in Paris, Berlin and elsewhere.
