Cabinet of Ministers holds a meeting, approves renewing electricity contracts

The Council of Ministers held a meeting Wednesday in the interim capital Aden presided over by the Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher.

The Prime Minister gave a word in which he commented on the recent violent acts in the interim capital Aden, describing what happened as a coup against the legitimacy of President Abd-Rabb Mansour Hadi. He stated that what happened would remain a painful reminiscence remissness in our life, however we won't talk about who wrongdoer of, rather we will let it to the investigators to investigate into.

Bin-Dagher affirmed that the cabinet's task now is to act reconciliatory, pay martyrs' families due care and support, secure the wounded persons medication and exert efforts for re-normalizing the situations and reinstating basic services.

However, the Prime Minister demanded an impartial investigation into the claims of corruption. He said:" We asked for an impartial investigation into the claims that were employed by the elements to carry out the coup against the legitimacy. I do mean the corruption charge..

Bin-Dagher added:" We do suggest that brethren dispatch experts in finances to investigate into this false charge which was marketed by huge media machinery of multiple platforms paved the way for the insurgency and promoted at Arab and international level".

Bin-Dagher suggested that an investigation shall be carried out by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Coalition member states, accordingly the wrongdoers shall be held accountable for the tragic events.

The Prime Minister expressed thanks for the leadership of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition, mainly the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia headed by Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saudi.

The Prime Minister said:" We would seek for social reconciliation in Aden and government-held provinces as preliminary step toward nation-wide national reconciliation in accordance with the instructions by President Had".

The cabinet of ministers has approved renewing contracts for purchasing electricity in the interim capial Aden for a period of six months until the end of 2018 summer as follow: Assa'adi Group 60MWA and Al-Mukalla Company 40 MGW.
