Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh met on Sunday with the ambassador of Kingdom of Norway to our country.

The meeting aimed to discuss the latest developments in the Yemeni national arena.

Prospects for bring about peace in Yemen were key focus of the Vice President's talks with the Norwegian diplomat.

Yemeni-Norwegian-bilateral ties and cooperation were also touched upon.

The Vice President has reiterated that legal government has been very keen on making peace on the bases of the GCC's Intuitive, outcomes of National Dialogue and International Security Council resolution 2216.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen explained humanities situations Yemeni people have been suffering from in the Houthi militia-controlled regions.

The Swedish diplomat stated that his own country is keen to contribute to the good offices aiming to make peace in Yemen and its supports consultations supervised by the UN.
