A cargo plane belonging to the Saudi Royal Air Force has arrived in Yemen's eastern city of Marib carrying 44,470 tons of food packs, as part of the daily flights run by King Salman Center for Relief (KSrelief) to deliver humanitarian aid to Yemen.
A few days ago, Saudi Arabia and the Arab Coalition it leads announced a $1.5 worth of massive humanitarian aid campaign to Yemen that is delivered to different parts of Yemen through multiple daily flights.
The aid channeled through KSrelief is meant to mitigate the impact of the humanitarian suffering bred by the devastating insurgency which the Iranian militia of Houthishas been mounting in Yemen for years.
