Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohassen Saleh sent a cable of thanks to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Emir Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulazia Al-Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense in Saudi Arabia Kingdom.
In his cable of thanks, the Vice President expressed thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud for kindly he instructed to deposit $2billion in the Central Bank of Yemen account in a response to a request by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
The cable stated that " The noble positions represented in the decisions of the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques and his Crown Prince, the leader of the Coalition for restoring legality in Yemen since the coup d'état by Iran-backed Houthi militia is clear-cut testament of the nobility of the leadership of Saudi Arabia Kingdom, its noble aim and the deep rooted fraternal relations between our countries and brotherly peoples….".
The Vice President has made clear that Yemeni people have optimistically received the news of the royal deposit in the Central Bank of Yemen. As it is one of the great expectations they were hinging their hopes on to help alleviating their suffering and torment due to Houthi militia's absurd war, atrocities and looting the nation's resources.
The Vice President concluding the cable by voicing deep thanks and appreciation for the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques and his Crown Prince for their supportive stances toward Yemen.
