Yemen-European bilateral ties in youth and sport area discussed

Minister of Youth and Sports Na'if Al-Buqri met on Tuesday with the EU ambassador to our country Calvo-Puerta.

Yemeni-EU bilateral ties and cooperation in the area of youth and sport were discussed.

The minister expressed deep thanks for the EU member states for supporting the legal Yemeni government politically, and contributing to humanitarian and relief campaigns in Yemen.

Al-Buqiri noted that His Ministry is looking forward to European support so that it can re-build youths and sport institutions which are badly affected during the ongoing war the country has been experiencing.

The Head of the EU diplomatic mission has affirmed that the EU member states are keen to contribute toward rehabilitating and training Yemeni youths
