Deputy Health Minister for Primary Healthcare Dr. Ali al-Walidi discussed with the WHO regional office in Cairo a number of issues including fighting malaria and dengue fever in Yemen.
In a meeting with the WHO officials in the Egyptian capital on Sunday, al-Walidi discussed the potential of cooperation with the WHO and the IOM in training Yemeni health personnel, distribution of tree mosquito nets, medicines and follow-up on the spray campaigns for mosquito repellants.
