Maritime Affairs Authority Discusses with European Nordic Support Foundation Enhancing Maritime Security
The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. Al-Yamani hails US measures for facing Iranian threat in Yemen, region

Yemen's Permanent Representative at the United NationsKhaled al-Yamani has hailed support of the US Administration for supporting the government of Yemen and its strong positions for facing danger of Iran's regime on the regional security.

An international resolution has been taken for terminating the sectarian seduction fed byIranian regime through regaining security and stability and social integration between the countries of the region, said al-Yamani in a lecture here.

He reviewed the sabotaging role is being played by Iran as a country sponsoring terrorism via its hands in the region, mainly Houthi militia, in destabilizing Yemen and the region and threating the neighboring countries by ballistic rockets made in Iran and smuggled to Houthis, who also targeting water ways in the Red Sea.

He reviewed evolving of the Yemeni issue during and after 2011 Revolution and the great results achieved by the peaceful political transfer in Yemen under the leadership of President Hadi, who led the process into implementation of the GCCInitiative and drafting the constitution project on the bases of the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference.

Yemen would have been an ideal federation state unless there was a coup and insurgency against the legitimate government.

He highlighted efforts exerted by the UN Secretary General and all UN organizations for providing humanitarian support to Yemen.
