Yemen Condemns Repeated Israeli Attacks Against Palestinians in West Bank
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has condemned and strongly denounced the repeated attacks carried out by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including the crimes of setting fire to the Grand Mosque in the village of Jiljiliya and the al-Farouq Mosque in the village of Mazare’ Al-Noubani, north of Ramallah.

Bin-Dagher chairs meeting about counter-terrorism

Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher presided over an extraordinary meeting of joint military and security committee on Wednesday in Aden, the temporary capital.

The meeting devoted to address security situation in the liberated provinces in light of challenges created by terrorist operatives' criminal acts.

The committee elaborately explored propositions and visions that can activate intelligence services and preventive security to detect terrorist operations before going on. Coordinating official and public efforts to foil troublemakers' schemes intended to disturb security and stability was also on top of the gathering agenda.

The committee paid tributes to the brave servicemen who sacrificed their souls to defend the nation's security and stability against terrorism and extremism forces.

A decision made by the committee to accolade Colonel Awadh Al-Amiri, who heroically sacrificed his soul to protect the servicemen from the suicidal attacker who targeted the Criminal Investigation building in Aden earlier this month.

Underway efforts and operations aimed to counter terrorism in cooperation with Arab Coalition were also debated by high rank-military , security and intelligence officials in charge.

Deputy Chief of Staff, Maj. General Saleh Azendani made presentation about ongoing combat operations in battlefields and advancement realized by government troops, local resistance fighters backed by Arab Coalition against Houthi-Salleh militias.

The security committee decided that an inclusive security plan needs to be devised so that it can be discussed in the forthcoming meeting.
