Governor of Abyan Abu Bakr Hussein Salem praised sacrifices of heroes of Quick Interference Forces, force of Security Belt and the National Army who cleansed al-Mahfad District from terror gangs.
In his inspection visit to the district, Salem stressed on high alert for facing challenges and on strengthening coordination between different forces in the framework of efforts of the province for tightening security.
On the other hand, Governor Salem inspected al-Mahfad Hospital and the ongoing work in it and difficulties it faces. He confirmed that the province's leadership will provide necessary support for improving services in the hospital.
The Social Fund for Development will send a number of specialists and technicians in medical field to count all the hospital requirements for rehabilitating a number of facilities, said Director of the Fund's branch Ghazi Ali.
Meanwhile, Director Education Office Yahya al-Yazidi said the office will carry out maintenance work in 10 schools in the district with finance from Public Work Project, which will supply the project with USD 250 million as a cost for the maintenance.
