The Minister of Youths and Sports Nayef al-Bakri conferred today, Thursday, with the British Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Abda Sharif over bilateral relations and cooperation.
Gold prices continued to trade near an all-time high during trading, on Thursday, amid the continued escalation of global trade tensions, and ahead of the European Central Bank's decision on interest rates.
Yemen has condemned the two suicide car-bombings that rocked the Somali capital Mogadishu on Saturday and incurred scores of casualties.
In a statement of which Saba obtained a copy, the Foreign Ministry said "while strongly condemning this cowardly criminal attack, the Government affirms its full solidarity with the government and brotherly people of Somalia against these terror acts."
"These criminal acts which target the civilians and public places show the gravity of the danger of terrorism and constitute a big threat that requires a serious international stance to fight it and put an end to it," read the statement.
The Foreign Ministry expressed its hearties condolences to the brotherly leadership, government and people of Somalia and to the families of the victims. It expressed wishes of speedy recovery to the wounded.
