Yemen has strongly condemned the "terrorist" attack that targeted Egyptian security forces in al-Wahat in Aljeeza province, west of Egypt, which caused dozens of casualties.
In a statement of which Saba obtained a copy, the Foreign Ministry renewed its rejection of terrorism and violence in all its forms and regardless of its pretexts calling on the international community "to stand united against such terror acts that target the civilians and disturb public peace."
The ministry affirmed Yemen's stance by the side of Egypt in countering terrorism, its sponsors, and financiers and support for all measures that Egypt may take to preserve its security and stability.
The ministry condoled the Government and people of Egypt as well as the families of the killed policemen wishing the wounded policemen speedy recovery.
