The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Yemen attends prep meeting for OIC summit on science in Astana

Yemen has attended a preparatory meeting for the Science and Technologysummit of the Organization of Islamic Conference's(OIC) scheduled to be held in the Kazakhstani capital, Astana on Sept. 10-11.
Yemen's Minister of Education Abdullah Lamlas represented Yemen in the meeting. He and science and technology peers from OIC member countries addressed the OIC's working document on Science, Technology and Innovation 2026 to be further discussed and approved during the summit.
Yemen's representatives in the summit will be Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Mansour Bajjash.
