RIYADH-SABA
Yemen's President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi has congratulated the country's army for taking full control of a major military camp, known as Khaled camp, north of the Red Sea town of Mokha, in Taiz.
Hadi phone called the commander of the 4th Military Region, Maj. Gen. Khaled Fadhel, on Wednesday to congratulate the heroic warriors for this major gain against the Saleh-Houthi rebel militia and to get updated about the latest developments in the western coast warfront.
Hadi made clear that "the wheel of change of cannot be reversed back and that the harbingers of victory are appearing, by virtue of the nation's warriors' sacrifices and the support of the Saudi and UAE-led Arab coalition." The president condoled the relatives of the fallen soldiers who died defending the nation against the aggressive coup militia.
On his part, the commander thanked president Hadi and promised that more gains are on the way to be achieved against the militia.
If government forces take full control of the camp, they would be one step closer to seizing the Taiz-Hodeidah road which means cutting Al Houthis off from their major supply route in the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah from where they smuggle weapons to rebels in Taiz.
By retaking the strategic camp, the Yemeni draws one step closer to cutting Houthi militants in Taiz off from their major weapons supply route in the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah .
