[24/06/2017 07:14]
ADEN-SABA

President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi has addressed this evening the nation on the eve of Eid al-Fitr, an occasion that marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.

The president stressed the importance of unifying ranks to face challenges with wisdom, strength, perseverance and tolerance in the lead-up to normalize the situations in liberated parts of the country.

"Again and again, we will continue to remind all Yemenis that this tyrant Saleh-Houthi militias is the one who confiscated the Yemenis' dream of change and chose to set fires rather than hand over power, devastating Yemen, country and people. It rebuffed all offers of dialogue and consultations seeking for pathological delusions and a malicious vengeance," said the presidential address.

"We are confident that the good will prevail and have the upper hand. Alongside us will the invincible sound of the people."
The president said "Yemen is on the threshold of major victories manifested by the public awareness, this one also evident from the people's perseverance in defending their territories and inviolabilities."

President Hadi recalled the liberation of Aden, the second anniversary of which is being celebrated. Hadi praised the perseverance and courage of the people of Aden in confronting and defeating the destructive militia.

Hadi said that "we are confronting terrorism in its various forms." Yemen, he said, needs "hand-in-hand collaboration in the face of the putschists' terrorism and the extremist groups' terrorism. They all kill the people on purpose under various banners. Islam denounces radicalism and extremism equally."
