The Prime Minister Salem bin Braik expressed deep gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as well as to the Saudi government and people for their generous support provided to Yemen and its people in various fields through strategic projects that have contributed toward enhancing services and development sectors, particularly the health sector.

FM directs embassy help Yemeni bus crash victims in Oman

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi has issued directives to Yemen's Ambassador in Oman Khaled Shutaif to follow up conditions of Yemeni citizens whose bus collided by a heavy truck in Oman while coming back home from the United Arab Emirates.

According to the initial information, five women, a child and the driver of the bus were killed and 26 other passengers were wounded by the traffic accident at the State of Haima of the Central Province of Oman on Thursday.

Al-Mikhlafi orders the embassy's stuff to exert every possible effort to take care of the injured citizens and securing transporting the dead bodies into their areas. He urged on coordination with Omani authorities for ensuring needed care.

Al-Mikhlafi, who praised efforts of the two embassies' staff in Oman and the UAE for taking care of the crush victims, asked Ambassador Shutaif to carry thanks and gratitude to authorities of the Sultanate of Oman for their quick response to the accident and taking care of the victims and the injured.

He asked mercy from Almighty Allah to the dead and pleaded for quick recovery of the injured people.
