The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Yemen partakes in international conference for refugees in Nairobi

Nairobi (Saba)- Minister of Local Administration accompanied by a Yemeni delegation partook in an international conference for refugees held by the High Commissioner for Refugees and the government of Kenya during the period from 24-25 March.
The conference aims to provide assistances for refugees and improve their economic living conditions .
In a speech, Fatah spoke about the dire humanitarian situation in Yemen, the rate of refugees living in Yemen and internal displacement.
He also spoke about humanitarian troubles caused by the coup which was carried out by militias of the Houthis and Saleh against the legitimate government and President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
He demanded international organizations and donors to support the government politically and provide it with humanitarian assistances and relief.
He mentioned that Yemen is among the main countries which receives Somalis and provides them support and facilities.
