The Saudi Royal Court announced on Thursday its condolences following the death of former Yemeni President Field Marshal Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, who passed away after decades of public service devoted to Yemen and its people.

In an official statement, the Royal Court said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received the news of the former president’s passing with profound grief.

King Salman and the Crown Prince conveyed their deepest sympathies to Hadi’s family and to the leadership, government, and people of Yemen.

The statement also affirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s support and solidarity with Yemen during this period of mourning, noting that the Saudi leadership and people share the sorrow of the Yemeni nation.

They prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the deceased, strength and patience for his relatives and the Yemeni people, and continued peace and stability for Yemen.
