Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. The Republic of Yemen has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of targeting a site inside Khartoum Airport in the sisterly Republic of Sudan.

The attack represents a threat to civilian safety and a violation of international humanitarian law,

Yemen confirmed, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, its full support for Sudan’s sovereignty, security, and stability, calling on all parties to immediately halt escalation and adhere to the Jeddah Declaration, in a way that ensures the protection of civilians and facilitates the delivery of humanitarian aid.

The Republic of Yemen also renewed its support for regional and international efforts aimed at ending the crisis and achieving security and stability in Sudan.
