The Republic of Yemen has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of targeting a site inside Khartoum Airport in the sisterly Republic of Sudan.

The attack represents a threat to civilian safety and a violation of international humanitarian law,

Yemen confirmed, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, its full support for Sudan’s sovereignty, security, and stability, calling on all parties to immediately halt escalation and adhere to the Jeddah Declaration, in a way that ensures the protection of civilians and facilitates the delivery of humanitarian aid.

The Republic of Yemen also renewed its support for regional and international efforts aimed at ending the crisis and achieving security and stability in Sudan.
